If all cities in China achieving 2030 air quality target, how big is the whole clean air market?  The answer is 20 trillion yuan.

According to the latest research, China clean air market will welcome a huge structural investment opportunity and become a new motion of China economy development, with the deep control on air pollution.

“2030 China clean air market outlook” revealed that by 2030, China service sector will account for over 60%, the coal consumption will lower 42% of the total, the clean energy will account for 22% and the new energy automobile shipment will exceed 15 million.

From Environment Institute of Beijing Normal University, Professor Mao Xianqiang said:”these changes will bring huge green gas emission reduction effects, accelerate to realize China government commitment in the Paris Agreement and push the global low carbon development.”

With the successful implementation of “Air pollution prevention and control action plan”, in the past 5 years, China has achieved breakthrough development in air pollution prevention, the concentration of PM2.5 in some cities decreased by over 30%, attracted 1.84 trillion yuan investment and realized 2.04 trillion GDP increase and 4 million new employment opportunities.  As expected, initial investment of China clean heating will accumulate to 700 billion yuan in 2021 and over 900 billion yuan in 2030.
