2019 cooling year of China air conditioning industry ended by a rifled decline.  In fact, the statistic was better than prediction although the whole industry showed inevitable decrease.

The production and shipment of air conditioning industry in July of 2019 decreased by 11.4% and 8.8% to 12.52 million units and 12.37 million units, respectively.  But the export slightly increased by 0.2% to 3.81 million units.

Looking at the whole cooling year, the total output kept 150 million units.  The one-digital decrease was due to the shrink of domestic market.  The export market was complex impacted by multi factors including tariff, competition and exchange rate.  The US-China trade war slashed the export to American market, but the demands from Europe and Southeast Asia were stable.

By the end of June, the stock was decline from the previous peak level.  Now, the domestic shipment and production showed decline in the third quarter. Although the absolute amount was high, it was still controllable.

The accumulated production output and shipment in 2019 cooling year were decreased by 4.43% and 2.91% to 148.56 million units and 149.17 million units, respectively.  Among them, the domestic shipment decreased by 5.88% to 91.69 million units and the export increased by 2.23% to 57.47 million units.

The accumulated production output and shipment in 2019 financial year decreased by 2.33% and 2.44% to 101.09 million units and 103.02 million units.  Among them, the domestic shipment and export decreased by 1.76% and 3.43% to 61.55 million units and 41.46 million units, respectively.
