Driving by “coal-to-gas” policy, wall-mounted heating and hot water combi-boiler is becoming priority in many Chinese families.  Wall-mounted boiler has entered a full development period in 2019.

The data from BSRIA showed that the domestic shipment of gas-fired wall-mounted boilers in the first half year of 2019 increased 11% to 1.1 million units.  It predicts that Chinese total wall-mounted boiler market will be over 3.5 million units in 2019.  Comparing with 90% of popularity rate in Europe and USA, it is only 10% in China, which representing a huge potential.

Gas-fired Heating and Hot Water Combi-boiler (GB 25034) was revised and issued in April of 2019, which made Chinese boiler standard more international.  The new standard not only accelerated the market upgrading, but also improved the heating efficiency of boilers.

It is worth noting that the new standard covers condensing gas-fired boiler.  At present, condensing boiler is still immature, but the future is bright.  According to China IOL, the yearly average shipment increased 120% in 2014-2017, with a 20%+ increased in 2019.

Comparing with conventional wall-mount boiler, condensing boiler is more intelligent, comfort and environmental.  High efficient condensing boiler will be a mainstream of boiler market.
