In February of 2019, the total production of scroll compressor was 180 500 units, decreased by 38.29% and the shipment decreased by 39.26% to 173 400 units, when comparing last February.  The export decreased by 41.65% to 27 400 units.  The year-to-data production and shipment were down 29.04% and 28.59% to 509 500 units and 500 500 units, respectively.

The performance of February scroll compressor market was gloomy with around 40% decrease.  The industry insiders said that the high stock for Spring Festival and serious competition were the main factors.

In February, household air conditioning market was just so so with slight decrease in production and export.  On contrary, commercial air conditioning market recovered with 7.9% increase of sales value.  The sales value of unitary slightly decreased and multi splits kept one-digit increase.

The export of scroll compressor was 27 400 units, down 41.65% and export value was 9 162 100 USD, down 26.58%.  The top 3 destinations were India, France and Brazil.  The export to India and France increased, but Brail, Korea, Thailand and Saudi Arabia which performed well last year, showed huge slide.
