According to the revealed data, the shipment of hermetic reciprocating compressors increased 5.4% to 155,085,000 units in January to November of 2018 and the output is 153,278,000 units, up 3.9% in the same period.  The total shipment of hermetic reciprocating compress increased about 5% in 2018.

The rotate compressor market kept optimistic in the first 7 months of 2018 with increase of output and shipment, but slowed down afterward because of the slash of terminal air conditioners.  In 2018, the shipment and output of rotate compressors were 206,036,000 units and 207,762,000 units, increased by 6.91% and 8.23%, respectively.

The trend of intelligence encouraged the manufacturers investing more intelligent projects.  Facing new refrigerants, high efficient and inverter technologies and huge opportunities in emerging sectors of light commercial and heat pump, compressor manufacturers were increasing the investment in R&D and promoting innovative products.

But, rotary compressor market was gloomy.  It was said that in January to November of 2018, the total shipment and output were 3,463,900 units and 3,466,500 units, down 7.98% and 8.16%, respectively, because of the low demand and impact of dual-rotate type.

This is the real market performance of China compressors.  Innovation is still priority.

China compressor manufacturers should update the technologies and products stepping with demand and development and further adjust the products structure and producing system to keep the high competiveness and profit.

It is worth noting that confidence is important, especially for pharmaceutical industry.  With the market development, the demand for refrigerating system is increasing, which will bring more opportunities for compressors.
