Ruzhou City of Henan Province

The new increased energy efficient building areas were 1,084,900 SQMs in 2017, achieving 100% energy efficiency standard and saving 21,100 tons of standard coal.  Ruzhou City continues to push the green building development and has established 3-year plan on green buildings.

Anqing City of Anhui Province

Since 2016, Anqing City has achieved 100% energy efficiency standards of design and construction phases.  In 2017, the new startup energy efficient building areas were 7,310,300 SQMs and finished existing buildings retrofitting were 82,000 SQMs.  Anqing government will achieve 100% green buildings for new buildings in 2018.

Fuzhou City of Fujian Province

According to third authority, the fourth list of public buildings retrofitting demonstrations included 16 projects with over 25,000 SQMs, which were all education and healthcare buildings.

Tianjin City

For promoting the green building development and increasing energy and resource utilization, Tianjin government released "Tianjin green building management", identifying that new buildings of school, hospital and affordable housing should achieve green building standard since May 1^st of 2018 and encouraging to cover existing building retrofitting and industrial building.

It is said that in 2017, new green building areas were 29 million SQMs.  Until now, the total finished and constructing buildings in Tianjin were over 80 million SQMs.  In 2018, the government will push the R&D on green technologies and renewable energy application, achieving 300 green building labeling projects in next 5 years.

Hebei Province

The green buildings of Hebei developed rapidly in recent years.  In 2017, the new green building areas were 19.44 million SQMs, accounting for 37.2% of total new buildings.

For Xiong'an new district, the green investment will be up to 1000 billion yuan or more.  Because of poor infrastructure, the investment on green buildings in the first 5 years will achieve 100 billion yuan per year.

With the release of "Hebei green building evaluation standard" and development of building technology application, the incremental cost of green buildings is declined annually.
