Now, there are more than 8,100 public institutions in Beijing.  In 2015, Beijing plans to reduce 2% per capita consumption of comprehensive energy, water and building energy, and controls the total energy consumption within 1.85 million tons of standard coal.

1. Accelerate to set up the standardization system

Release reasonable energy guidelines and energy consumption limitation standards for government, universities, culture complex, healthcare and sports stadiums, fulfill the public building energy management with over 3,000 SQMs areas.

2. Enhance the level of smart management

Improve and upgrade the use of energy meters, and implement energy saving and low carbon retrofitting demonstrations in 50 public data centers.

3. Push the energy retrofitting

Develop energy auditing in public institutions.

4. Strengthen resource deployment

Expand the scope of energy charging trusteeship demonstrations and encourage exploring energy saving retrofitting pilots using PPP model.
