As data showed, China sales of multi split for January 2018 increased 54.0% to 3.51 billion yuan.  Among them, the domestic sales of inverter units were 3.23 billion yuan with 55.2% growth rate.  By the contrast, digital units and common units continually decreased.  The export achieved 0.28 billion yuan, highly increased 42.1%.

The booming start for 2018 multi splits market was caused by their application to retail market and office buildings.  On the one hand, with the invisible decoration and comfort experience, multi splits occupied more market shares taking from some traditional wall-mounted room air conditioners in the east, south and central regions of China.  On the other hand, more and more office buildings preferred to multi splits because of the performance improvement and easy installation.

In the early stage, Japanese companies brought Chinese consumers the concept of multi splits which usually accepted by high-level apartments and communities.  In the past years, china domestic manufacturers paid more attention to R&D and advocating of multi splits, leading the products widely spread.  American manufacturers also focused on the potential development of multi splits to adjust their products and expand their market share in China.

Trinity of Japanese manufacturers' "hard work", Chinese manufacturers' "deep layout" and American manufacturers' "elevation of interest" boosted the increase.  Meanwhile, with the effect of "One belt and road", export will also have bright future.

It is expected that the growth rate of 2018 multi splits market will be over 20%.
