“Zhejiang Province Green Buildings Regulation” was officially implemented on May 1^st, which highlights:

1) Establish the promotion mechanism for full-decorated residential buildings.

2) Set up the implementation mechanism of classification and subregion progressive for green buildings.  On one hand, it identifies that new residential buildings must comply with the requirements of 1-star green buildings mandatory standard, and government buildings and other public buildings invested by government must meet the requirements of 2-star green buildings mandatory standard; on the other hand, it should insist on the green buildings development level suited to economic development, authorizing local governments to draft their own technology level of green buildings.

3) Build the existing building consumption supervision and retrofitting system.  Zhejiang Province initially established a building consumption supervision platform for government buildings and large public buildings, to meter and upload the building consumption in real time.

4) Release a series of incentives to support green buildings development, including subsidy for solar energy, shallow ground thermal energy and air source energy.
