Analysis on series and parallel systems of cold storage tanks in data centers

介绍了数据中心蓄冷罐的分类及应用场景、斜温层概念及意义,重点对比分析了蓄冷罐串联、并联系统设计要点,阀门切换逻辑及各自的特点。总体来看,并联系统优于串联系统,具有管路系统和控制逻辑简单、成本更低等优点;同时也可以避免串联系统形式下恢复供电时空调末端短暂升温的问题。
Abstract:
This paper presents the classification and application scenarios of cold storage tanks in data centers, and discusses the concept and significance of the thermocline. The design points of series and parallel systems, valve switching logic and their respective characteristics of cold storage tanks are compared and analysed particularly. In general, the parallel system is superior to the series system, and has the advantages of the simple pipeline system, control logic, and lower cost. At the same time, the parallel system could avoid the problem of a brief heating up at the end of the air conditioning when the power supply is restored in the form of a series system.
