数据中心研究(10):不间断供冷和蓄冷

摘要:

 停电将导致数据中心宕机,而停电引起的供冷中断是宕机的主要原因。不间断供冷是有效的解决措施,不间断供冷的主要办法就是蓄冷。水蓄冷是普遍采用的一种蓄冷方式,冰蓄冷也是一种可行的蓄冷方式。蓄冷可在低谷电时段运行,不但能明显提高数据中心的经济性,而且有利于电网的电力平衡。工程实例经济分析结果表明,无论是水蓄冷还是冰蓄冷,只要设计合理,均能明显改善数据中心的经济性。

Abstract:

Power failure will lead to a data center outage, and the outage of cooling caused by power failure is the main reason. Uninterrupted cooling is an effective solution, with cool storage as the main method. The popular way is water cool storage, and ice cool storage is also a feasible way of energy storage. Cool storage system can operate in off peak power period, which not only improves the economy of data center, but also benefits the balance of power grid. The economic analysis result of an engineering example shows that the economy of a data center can be obviously improved when the design is reasonable, no matter using the water cool storage or ice cool storage.
