Abstract：
Presents the characteristic and application of main research methods of building fire smoke movement and control, including experimental method, numerical simulation method and investigation and test method. Reviews their development processes, gives some typical results and points out their existing problems and deficiencies in application, providing guidance to the new researchers in this field.
