Abstract：
The air side economizer as a free cooling and ventilation device for buildings is rarely used in China, but it is widely used in American HVAC industry. Presents American design standards, and the composition, working mode, control method and applicable conditions of economizer, reveals its working principle, and summarizes its performance characteristics.
