冷通道封闭对机房热环境影响的实验和模拟

Experiment and simulation of cold aisle partition impacting on thermal environment of a computer room

摘要:

以某机房为研究对象,建立仿真模型,以实测数据作为模型的边界条件,并采用多孔介质阶跃方法模拟机架出风口位置的动量衰减。通过实测数据与模拟结果的对比,验证了模型的合理性。研究了冷通道封闭对风量和风速分布的影响。结果表明:冷通道封闭时,机柜排风速度能满足国家规范,上部区域气流通过IT设备时的风速较高,可以保证设备足够的冷量;风量通道未封闭时,各机架的排风速度远小于冷通道封闭。机房热负荷的改变对机架排风速度的影响不大。

Abstract:

With a computer room as an object, develops a simulation model. With the measured data as boundary conditions, simulates the momentum attenuation at the air outlet of the rack by porous-jump method. Verifies the rationality of model by comparing the measured data with simulating data, and studies the influence of cold aisle partition on air rate and velocity. The results show that the exhaust air velocity of cabinet can meet the demand of national standard, the air velocity across the IT devices is larger in the upper zones to ensure the enough cooling capacity under the conditions of cold aisle partition, and the exhaust air velocity is obviously  decreased when cold aisle is not partitioned. The variation of heat load in computer room has little influence on exhaust air velocity of racks.
