Abstract：
Presents the countermeasures against greenhouse effect, the current situation of cool or energy source and electricity industries, the development and current situation of cool or thermal storage technology and application cases. The actual operation data of district heating and cooling projects indicate that the cool or thermal storage technology should be promoted from the aspects of both controlling global warming and improving economy.
