Abstract：

Presents the main contents of the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), and analyses the policy impact on energy performance of buildings in the European countries from the perspective of adoption of a methodology and setting of energy performance requirements as well as energy performance certificate. Supplies reference information to the policy makers and performers of building energy efficiency in China.
