Abstract：
Unpowered fans are widely used on land, but there are not many application examples in offshore platforms. Combined with the successful application of unpowered fans to an offshore platform in China, presents the advantages of unpowered fans, ventilation scheme design, structure optimization, installation methods and precautions for application to offshore platforms.
