| There exists diverse types of buildings in China because of a vast territory, whatever normal public buildings and residential buildings as we all know and many kinds of buildings with national minority characteristics. In this issue, two articles introduce the special heating systems and features of Kang in northern region and stilted building in Guizhou. Due to their unique performance, the authors investigate volunteers' thermal comfort and subjective feelings and analyse the related data, so that we can understand how to deploy the suitable HVAC systems to achieve a perfect indoor environment. |

2019 China AC market marked by slide domestic shipment and increased export The accumulated production output and shipment in 2019 financial year decreased by 2.33% and 2.44% to 101.09 million units and 103.02 million units,respectively. Among them, the domestic shipment and export decreased by 1.76% and 3.43% to 61.55 million units and 41.46 million units, respectively. Wall-mounted boilers market increased in the first half year of 2019 due to "coal-to-gas" According to the data from ChinaIOL, the domestic shipment of gas-fired wall-mounted boilers in the first half year of 2019 increased by 11.5% to 1,055,000 units, with a 7.1% increase of condensing wall-mounted boilers. Global air conditioning systems market is expected to register a CAGR of 9.9% from 2019 to 2025 Thermal environmental factors such as humidity, temperature, and air pressure are key to maintaining healthy indoor air. As these factors keep changing throughout the year, adapting with them can often be a challenge, especially when dealing with closed spaces with inadequate ventilation. Air conditioners are highly preferred in residential as well as commercial areas to control these factors. |
