| As the most popular renewable energy, solar energy can be applied to hot water system, space heating and cooling system of buildings. We know that the energy consumption of cooling and heating system account for a huge part of total building energy consumption. Efficiently developing and utilizing solar resource will reduce carbon emission and protect environment. This is the reason that China market is more and more interested in solar thermal energy application in systems and buildings, which is expected to be a mainstream of future energy mix. In this issue, there are three articles introducing the solar energy combined with equipment and system. |

March 1st: Green building promotion in Shandong The meaning of green building is to save the resources, protect environment and reduce pollution during the life cycle, in order to provide a healthy, comfortable and high efficient indoor environment. By the end of 2018, the accumulated green building areas were 330 million SQMs in Shandong. 20 million SQMs of heat pump heating areas added next 3 years in Beijing Beijing government will promote heat pump technology deployment in Tongzhou of Beijing, Daxing International Airport and rural area. By 2022, the heat pump heating areas will reach 80 million SQMs, accounting for 8% of the total heating areas in Beijing. In recent, eight departments including Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform and Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources co-released and implemented "Opinions on further accelerating heat pump system application to improve clean heating". 2018 China household appliances market broke 80 million yuan China household equipment appliances research institute (CHEARI) and National appliance industry center (NAIC) co-released "2018 China household appliances industry report" (the Report). The Report shows that in 2018, China household appliances market increased 1.9% to 810.4 billion yuan, air conditioner, kitchen appliances, refrigerator and washing machine experienced increase, excepte color TV. |
