| As we know, the energy consumption of HVAC system accounts for over 40% of the total building. Now, more and more high efficient HVAC solutions applied to commercial and industrial buildings is improving the energy performance of buildings as a whole, including central air conditioning system, solar air conditioning and heating system, temperature and humidity independent processed air conditioning system, ground-source heat pump and multi split, while involved of renewable system. In this issue, there are some case studies presenting the new technologies application and satisfied results by perfect commissioning and maintenance. |

4 development opportunities of China central air conditioning market Facing the challenges of macro policies and some certain products, China central air conditioning market still have many opportunities. As one of large energy consumers, central air conditioning product is the core of future high efficient buildings. That's the reason the percentage of inverter products continued increased in recent years with multi splits accounting for over 99%. The inverter centrifugal chillers accounted for 26% and will continue to increase. As the release of new energy efficiency standard, unitary products will further spur the development of inverter market. 100% clean heating by 2021 in Zhangjiakou As one of the cities hosting 2022 Winter Olympic Games, Zhangjiakou became one of clean heating demonstrations this year. According to the plan, Zhangjiakou will deploy the complementary energy development of combined heating and power (CHP), large boiler heating, biomass CHP, electrical heating, gas heating, air /geothermal/water-source heat pumps heating during the period of 2018-2021, to expand the scale, popularity and scientific development of clean heating. Almost 100 million shipments of household air conditioners in 2018 Shipments of China household air conditioning industry reached 97,514,000 units during the period of August 2017 – July 2018, with growth rate of 18.8%. Reviewing the development trend in latest decade, the adjustment period will appear every 2-3 years. Due to the policy impact, the industry reached the top in 2012. Because of low price of raw materials and low level of stock, the increase continued in row of 2013-2015, but decrease in 2016. Now, with the increased demand, the household air conditioning industry recovered in 2017-2018. |
