| The basic significance of thermal storage air conditioning system is to shift the peak load of air conditioning system and effectively balance the energy supply and demand. China thermal storage air conditioning application has been well developing in recent years both in scope and scale, with the total 1,100 projects in operation and under construction by the end of 2014. To further improve the operating effects, regulate system design, construction and operation and enhance the integrated level of energy storage industry, the revised standard of "Technical specification for energy storage air-conditioning system" adds some new contents including heat storage and limited values, which will encourage end users to adopt energy storage air conditioning systems and achieve the target of "cost efficient and national energy saving". |

China green buildings broke 1 billion SQMs By the end of 2017, a total of 10,927 projects in China achieved green building labeling with over 1 billion SQMs of construction area. Chairman of China Real Estate Association, Mr. Liu Zhifeng said that comparing with 2 billion SQMs of annual completed area, although the share of green buildings was small, but the significant effort of green building on China green development is not ignored. China scroll compressors shipments down 8.9% in May Comparing with the same period of last year, in May of 2018, the total shipments of China scroll compressors industry decreased 9.75% to 293,300 units, the domestic shipments decreased 9.31% to 244,500 units and the export decreased 7.27% to 54,700 units. Scroll compressors industry entered into a downward channel in May, both production and shipment. The market share of 3-7HP units shrank. IEC's Draft Proposal Increases Charge Limit For Flammable Refrigerants In May, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) released its draft proposal to raise the maximum charge size for flammable refrigerants in commercial self-contained cases from 150 grams to 500 grams. This marks a significant step forward for the North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC), which has been working to change the standards to increase the maximum charge limit for R-290 (propane) use in self-contained equipment. |
