| Water is an indispensable and irreplaceable important natural resource and environmental factor for all human beings to survive and social and economy to develop. The increase of population and rapid development of industrial and agriculture activities and urbanization significantly influenced the limited water resource and water environment. March 22nd is World Day for Water, aiming to promote the comprehensive management of water resource. March issue introduces the water resource utilization in data centers, provides the definition and calculation method of water use efficiency and summarizes many ways to reduce water consumption of data centers. |

"China Water efficiency label management" implemented in March "Water efficiency label management" was officially implemented on March 1st, which will promote high efficient and water saving products application, improve water utilization ratio, advance water saving technology, enhance people's water saving awareness and push the healthy development of China water saving products industry. Water efficiency label includes efficiency levels of 1-5 and water consumption amount confirmed by related national test standards. Level 1 is the highest and Level 3 or 5 represents the different market threshold. Multi splits market spurred 54% at beginning of 2018 As data showed, China sales of multi split for January 2018 increased 54.0% to 3.51 billion yuan. Among them, the domestic sales of inverter units were 3.23 billion yuan with 55.2% growth rate. By the contrast, digital units and common units continually decreased. The export achieved 0.28 billion yuan, highly increased 42.1%. China air conditioning market slows down in 2018 Influenced by La Nina phenomenon, the summer temperature in China was generally higher than before, which spurred the shipments of air conditioners. But in 2018, because of negative factors of high raw materials prices and stagnation of real estate market, air conditioning market development will slow down accordingly. |
