Data is exploding in the world with the development of information, cloud computing and virtualization technologies application, which makes data centers more important and face many challenges of high density, high cost and high energy consumption. The energy consumption of a data center is mainly from IT equipment, air conditioning, lighting and power systems, especially, the consumption of cooling system accounting for 40%, which means increasing cooling efficiency is one of the priorities in the establishment of modern data centers.

2017 HVAC technology conference on Airport terminals
• Time: July 20th
• Venue: Beijing Yulong Hotel
Civil aviation industry has been increasing for a long time with the sustainable development of China economy, especially the blooming of airports and hubs establishment. According to the "Thirteenth Five-year Plan", China will set up and expand 74 airports, achieving to over 50 airports. Differing from general public and commercial buildings, large civil airports and terminals has unique features which are worthy to share and discuss with industry professional, including designers, researchers, contractors and operators, etc. The conference will present system design, case studies, operation & management, testing data and energy efficiency technologies.

EU ministers agree new energy efficiency policy framework
In a move that may foster the uptake of natural refrigerant-based systems given their high energy savings performance, EU energy ministers adopted an updated Energy Labelling Directive and agreed a position on two more directives that will impact the HVAC&R sector. A simpler A to G label will replace the current green-to-red label featuring categories such as A+ and A++. Products displaying the energy efficiency label must meet minimum energy efficiency standards. Under the revised Energy Labelling Directive, a digital database of energy-efficient products will be launched in January 2019, to boost transparency and improve compliance with the rules.

India Intelligent Building Management Systems Market
According to a comprehensive report published by TMR, the India intelligent building management systems (IBMS) market has been predicted to rake in a handsome US$4.3 bn by 2021 at a 28.10% CAGR for the forecast period 2015–2021. Residential buildings, retail stores, and hotels have been prognosticated to raise the demand in the India IBMS market owing to key applications such as security systems, entertainment control systems, access control systems, and general lighting control. But, it is still challenged by few restraining factors such as unavailability of skilled labor. Small-scale firms have been foretold to face the issue of affordability on account of large investment capital required to train their workforce. The complexity of IBMS necessitates the availability of skilled personnel during operations.
