China HVAC system market demand analysis
Urbanization becomes a largest diver of future development of China economy and is one of the important factors impacting the demand of central air conditioning system in China. According to the data from National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS), in the past 10 years, urbanization rate of China increased from 43.00% in 2005 to 56.10% in 2015, but still a huge gap comparing with developed countries. Chinese Academy of Social Sciences predicted that urbanization rate of China will reach 61% and 65% in 2020 and 2025, respectively. Driven by urbanization, commercial deployment and public infrastructure will bring great new demand for central air conditioning industry.

High GWP gases face 30% price increase
Refrigerant users face new price increases of as much as 30% as Europe transitions away from high GWP HFCs. Many chemical manufactures - Chemours and Mexichem announced to increase prices of their refrigerants by 15-25%, including R404A, R410A, R507, R134a and R407C. Latest European Commission figures report that the amount of HFC refrigerant placed on the market in 2015 amounted to 168Mt CO2eq - within the baseline cap amount for the year of 183Mt CO2eq. Next year the industry, faced with cuts of 37% of the baseline, must make do on 115Mt CO2eq.

New IRENA Study finds eliminating energy-related carbon emissions possible
Global energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions can be reduced by 70% by 2050 and completely phased-out by 2060 with a net positive economic outlook, according to new findings released by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). The buildings, industry and transport sectors need more bioenergy, solar heating and electricity from renewable sources that substitute conventional energy. Electric vehicles need to become the predominant car type in 2050.
