	The air-source heat pumps application in Beijing will be significantly increased in the next two years, to achieve the target of annual 100,000 sets of "coal-to-electricity" and "coal-to-gas" retrofitting projects for famers which is clarified in the "Clean Air Act (2013-2017)". It was highlighted in a technical training workshop in Beijing that the rational energy efficiency ratio of a heat pump in the low temperature environment is the major index.

EPA SNAP-lists R123 alternatives USA: The EPA has SNAP-listed two new R123 alternatives and expanded the acceptable uses of R513A and CO2 in air conditioning and refrigeration. The HFO 1336mzz(Z) is determined to be acceptable in new equipments of centrifugal chillers, positive displacement chillers and industrial process air conditioning. Another potential replacement for R123 in centrifugal and positive-displacement chillers, R514A is deemed acceptable as a retrofit gas as well as in new equipments.
