    November 2015
Vol.45
No.7
Building energy efficiency is one of the priorities in global energy saving and environment protection. ASHRAE published the updated standard on energy efficiency in existing buildings, which will raise the awareness of efficiency retrofitting and reduce the energy consumption in the existing buildings. Some articles in November issue introduce building energy retrofitting projects and their achievements in China.

• Green office building retrofit optimization strategy based on building energy efficiency-predicted mean vote
• Energy saving calculation of existing buildings retrofitting with part function changes
•Soil-temperature recovery characteristics of ground heat exchange system

November issue is special for magnetic technology. Centrifugal magnetic compressor features high efficiency, low maintenance cost, quiet operating and soft start. The centrifugal magnetic chillers have been successfully applied to many projects with super high IPLV/NPLV that significantly reduced the annual energy consumption.
• Energy potential analysis of magnetic suspension chiller in data center
• Case study: magnetic suspension central air conditioning system in hospital
• Comparison of Magnetic suspension chiller using in hotel energy retrofitting
