2015 is the 10th anniversary of energy labeling for air conditioners. Since 2008, the certified inverter air conditioning models exceeded 10,000. The total capacity of inverter air conditioners was nearly 30 million units in 2014. The market will be dominated by inverter AC next decade with its high growth rate and features of high efficiency and comfort. |

Air quality: Environment MEPs call for tougher new national caps on pollutants As air pollution is responsible for around 400,000 premature deaths in the EU yearly, Environment MEPs tightened up Commission plans and called for more ambitious national caps on emissions of six main pollutants, in order to cut emissions by 70% across the EU and save €40bn in air pollution costs by 2030.
