Nearly zero energy buildings adopt passive architectural design and active energy saving technology to achieve a comfortable indoor environment with the lowest power consumption of energy equipment. The use of phase change building materials can improve the thermal inertia of building envelopes, reduce indoor temperature fluctuations, reduce the capacity of heating and air conditioning equipment, and reduce energy consumption of building equipment by combining with solar energy, air energy and other renewable energy. Presents the classification and characteristics of phase change building materials from the perspective of different building envelopes, summarizes the research progress of phase change envelopes at home and abroad, and lists the applications of phase change materials in passive design of nearly zero energy buildings. Puts forward the research trend of novel phase change materials and the development direction of phase change building materials in passive design and active energy saving technology, providing a reference and basis for the research and design of nearly zero energy buildings.
