Presents the system structure of the outdoor air direct cooling air handling unit and the temperature and humidity control standard of comprehensive control strategy. According to five different operating conditions of mechanical refrigeration, hybrid refrigeration, hybrid refrigeration plus humidification, natural cooling and natural cooling plus humidification, carries out the energy saving analysis of outdoor air direct cooling air handling units used in data centers by annual equivalent total natural cooling time.The results show that the outdoor air direct cooling air handling unit is applicable in most areas of China, with the obvious energy saving effect, especially in the cold and severe cold zones. The setting of hybrid refrigeration operation mode should be different according to the climate zones, and the annual equivalent total natural cooling time of hot summer and warm winter zone B is directly proportional to the local latitude and inversely proportional to the local altitude.
