In order to improve the indoor thermal environment of residential buildings in the Yangtze River Basin in winter and solve the contradiction between heating and energy saving, puts forward a mode of air-source heat pump combined with solar roof. Using DeST software, selects five representative cities of Chongqing, Changsha, Nanjing, Shanghai and Wuhan to simulate and calculate the annual cumulative cooling and heating load indexes of multi-storey residential buildings. According to the measured data, obtains the annual power consumption indexes of air-source heat pump systems in the five cities. Using the solar roof power generation evaluation method, calculates the annual power generation indexes of buildings in five cities using monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon, amorphous silicon and thin film polycrystalline silicon battery plates, respectively. The results show that the annual power consumption of the air-source heat pump system in the multi-storey residential buildings in the Yangtze River Basin is lower than the solar roof photovoltaic power generation. Air-source heat pump combined with solar roof is one of the energy efficient ways for building heating in the Yangtze River Basin.
