Economy and guarantee method for outdoor air rate based on dedicated outdoor air system

Presents the control performance and energy saving effect of the different outdoor air rate control methods in traditional VAV systems, and analyses the problem of the mismatch between supply and requirement of terminal outdoor air rates in detail. Proposes the guarantee method for outdoor air rate based on the dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS). Analyses the economy of the guarantee method for outdoor air rate by a comparative experiment study. The results indicate that the guarantee method for outdoor air rate based on DOAS can realize the demand-based distribution of outdoor air rate, and adopting DOAS can achieve good energy-saving effect when the operation of air conditioning system is more than 12 years in Dalian area.
