Taking a centralized cooling and heating system of a gas-steam combined cycle thermal power plant in hot summer and cold winter zone as an example, briefly presents the different operating conditions of the centralized cooling and heating system, and analyses the energy saving and water saving effects of the centralized cooling and heating system combined with circulating cooling water on the premise of ignoring the system energy consumption and various losses and only considering the power consumption of the water-source heat pump. The results show that the multi-function system saves hundreds of thousands or even millions of cubic meters of natural gas per year compared with other conventional heating methods, and the utilization of waste heat in circulating cooling water indirectly achieves a thousands of cubic meters of water saving effect per year.
