The passive ultra-low energy residential building is an important way to improve the energy saving level and indoor environment of residential buildings in China. However, due to the current few engineering practices, the ventilation system design of existing projects has certain problems. Based on the domestic and international standards, through the ventilation system design and performance measurement data of two passive ultra-low energy residential buildings, adopting the air leakage model of building envelope, analyses the pressure differences between air-conditioned rooms and the adjacent areas such as outdoor or corridors, and the design application of air balance of outdoor air systems. Discusses the applicability of current standards to the air-conditioned room pressure difference and air balance design in passive ultra-low energy residential buildings.
