Energy saving effect of adjustable ventilation platform door systems

The adjustable ventilation platform door system combines the advantages of platform screen door system and platform safety door system, which has good energy saving effect and has been widely used in underground railway engineering field. Simulates the ventilation rate of the adjustable ventilation platform door system under different opening areas by STESS. The results show that the ventilation rate gradually tends to be stable with the increase of the opening area, and the ventilation rate can reach 95% of the maximum value when the opening area of the single side platform door reaches 24 m2. Based on the ventilation rate simulation results, calculates the energy saving rate of the system in hot summer and cold winter zone and hot summer and warm winter zone. The adjustable ventilation platform door system has better energy saving effect in low cooling load underground railway stations in hot summer and cold winter zone, and the annual power saving is about 13 000 kWh per station.
