Commissioning potential and value analysis of existing public buildings
Chen Zhe, Xu Peng, Xu Qi, Dong Zheng and Ding Yimin
Building commissioning is an important means to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings. Analyses the correlation and commissioning potential of Shanghais public building energy consumption using four energy related parameters—building comparable energy consumption deviation, cooling season power consumption index, HVAC system energy consumption ratio and commissioning potential based on BA system and energy sub-metering system. Determines the commissioning potential based on BA system and energy sub-metering system using the decision-making tree method, and the building energy commissioning value by combining commissioning potential and comparable energy consumption deviation (that is, the energy saving effect or economic benefit brought by commissioning). Gives a hospital case in Wuxi. Through the analyses of hundreds of existing public buildings in Shanghai, summarizes the common operational problems of different types of buildings, and suggests corresponding commissioning or other energy efficiency measures.
