Comprehensive energy saving retrofitting of air conditioning system in underground railway station

 Taking a water-cooled air conditioning system (hereinafter referred to as ‘water system’) of Guangzhou underground railway Chepi south station as the energy saving research object, by means of investigation, tracking and diagnosis, finds the problems and energy saving potential of the water system, and proposes a series of comprehensive energy saving measures such as the high efficiency equipment update and control parameters optimization to improve the performance coefficient of the station water system. Through detailed analysis and calculation, determines the technical feasibility, and carries out a comprehensive energy saving retrofitting for the station water system. According to a third-party testing, the overall energy efficiency rate of the water system is more than 50%, and the environmental control system can achieve a total annual energy saving of nearly 1.4 million kWh.
