Significance analysis on impacts of passive energy saving technology on cooling load and energy consumption of an office building in hot summer and warm winter zone

Taking an office building in Guangzhou as a research object, with the orthogonal experimental method, studies the significance impacts of five passive energy saving technologies, including external shading, natural ventilation, day lighting, envelope energy saving and external window energy saving. The results show that all of the five passive energy saving technologies have significant impacts on cooling load and building energy consumption, but the significance sequence is different. The external shading is the most significant factor for cooling load, while day lighting is the most significant factor for building energy consumption. Envelope energy saving is the least significant factor for both the cooling load and building energy consumption.
