Based on the cloud platform of air conditioning Internet of things (IoT), carries out the online tests of 89 000 air conditioners installed in residential buildings of the Yangtze River basin. Quantitatively analyses the 44.62 million measured data in one year based on the powerful data processing ability of the cloud platform. Analyses the using habit, usage state and energy consumption of the air conditioners from a macroscopic view, which points out the state of indoor temperature of residential buildings in this area and the outdoor temperature distribution of the air conditioners during operation. This method solves the defect of the sampling and questionnaire surveys, and reflects the using habit and practical operating condition of the air conditioners in the Yangtze River basin in a more objective way, providing design parameter support for the development of air conditioners suited for the region, and working parameter statistical data for the seasonal performance evaluation of air conditioners.
