Design of temperature and humidity independent processed air conditioning system with centralized double cold sources for a bank building

This paper presents the design of cold and heat sources and terminal units of the air conditioning system for a bank building. According to the requirement of building function and indoor thermal comfort, the distribution and composition of indoor heat and humidity load are analysed. Combined with the temperature and humidity independent processed technology with centralized double cold sources, it is realized that the high-temperature cold source bears the outdoor air pre-cooling load and indoor sensible heat load, and the low-temperature cold source bears the outdoor air dehumidification load and indoor latent heat load. The combined application of centralized double cold source outdoor air handling units, dry fan-coil units and active chilled beam terminal units is explored. The applicability, energy saving and economics of this system are analysed from the aspects of air conditioning system selection, temperature and humidity independent processed operation strategy and technical and economic comparison.
