Prevention and control of odor pollution in waste incineration power plants

Odorous gases such as hydrogen sulfide(H2S), ammonia(NH3), methyl mercaptan(CH3SH) and volatile organic acids produced by garbage rot seriously harm human health and ecological environment. Combined with the actual projects, this paper puts forward the calculation method of the odor waste incineration source intensity, and analyses the source and characteristics of the odor in the waste incineration power plant. According to the characteristics of different odor source areas, the selection of anti-odor and deodorization methods and the calculation of deodorant air volume are emphatically presented, and the problems existing in the current deodorization design of waste incineration power plants are analysed and the future research directions are prospected.
