The existing feasibility studies of zero-energy-consumption buildings mainly focus on residential buildings, and only consider the balance between building energy and renewable energy production capacity. Chinas newly promulgated Technical standard for nearly zero energy building considers the balance of supply and demand and the energy conservation of the building itself. However, there is currently no feasibility study of zero-energy-consumption buildings based on this standard. Based on this standard, this paper studies the feasibility of non-residential zero-energy-consumption buildings in the design stage of Chinas hot summer and warm winter zone and cold zone under three scenarios. The results show that non-residential zero-energy-consumption buildings can be achieved under different scenarios and climatic conditions, but to ensure the realization of the zero-energy-consumption goal in actual operation, it is necessary to consider possible actual operating conditions in the design.
