Study on technical characteristics of geothermal energy from building carbon emission peak

 In view of the important role of the renewable energy sources such as geothermal energy in the process of building carbon peak and carbon neutrality, this paper deeply analyses the technical characteristics and the high compatibility with building energy demand based on the essential characteristic of geothermal energy. The results reveal that the geothermal energy utilization has the properties of various usage forms, natural suitability, highly efficient energy saving and green low-carbon, indicating that the geothermal energy utilization is an effective means of energy saving and carbon emission reduction in building fields. All of these will help to achieve the goals of carbon peak before 2030 and carbon neutrality before 2060 as soon as possible.
