In order to coordinate the compatibility between the cooling tower and the ground conditions, proposes the scheme of placing the cooling tower at the non-centralized end of station equipment, and compares the investment, energy consumption and effect on civil construction of the two schemes of placing the chiller room at the centralized end or the non-centralized end of station equipment. When the cooling tower is arranged near the ground of air shaft at non-centralized end of station equipment, the chiller room can be arranged at the centralized end or the non-centralized end of the equipment, but the latter saves investment and energy. It is not suitable to simply carry out the requirement of “the chiller room should be located near the load center of the station (equipment centralized end)” in GB 50157—2013 Code for design of metro. The economic and energy-saving scheme should be selected according to the actual engineering conditions through comprehensive analysis of multiple majors.
