Investigates the improvement effect of personalized heating systems consisting of the heated floor and a chair (an ordinary chair or an insulated chair) on the overall and local thermal sensation of the human body at lower indoor temperatures (12 to 16 ℃). During the experiment, selects ten college students to vote on the thermal perception, measures the temperatures in the room and near the seat, and compares the energy consumption of the personalized heating system with that of the split air conditioner for heating. The results show that the use of heated floor can improve the thermal comfort of the human body, and the addition of an insulated seat is more effective. At 12 ℃, the heated floor plus ordinary chair only improves the thermal sensation of foot, and the improvement is slight compared with unheated floor. The heated floor plus insulated chair is more effective in improving the thermal sensation of the subjects’ lower body. Using the heated floor plus insulated chair, the abdomen, buttocks and feet can reach thermal neutrality at 14 ℃, and the feet and calves may feel a little hot at 16 ℃. When two workstations are arranged in the room, the energy saving rate of heated floor plus insulated chair is 63.1% compared with that of the split air conditioner.
